Brenda Wood

 Professional Bio

Brenda L. Wood is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and BIA Counsellor based in Dartmouth, NS.   With over 30 years experience of assisting others through the complexities of debt solutions, Brenda brings a unique blend of expertise, compassion, and patience to every meeting, helping clients find relief from overwhelming debt.  Her commitment to supporting individuals aligns perfectly with her role at Allan Marshall & Associates, where she ensures people have the right information to make well-informed decisions for their financial future.

Brenda is well recognized by CAIRP (Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals) for her volunteer efforts.  She is past chair of CAIRP’s Course Material Review Committee and has served on various other committees as well as being a presenter at various CAIRP events.

In her community she has served as treasurer of the local elementary school and her son’s hockey teams. When not in a rink, the ballfield, or as part of the pit crew for Wood Family Racing you can find her camping at one of the beautiful Nova Scotia campgrounds.
